Brooke Kinsella’s 16-year-old brother, Ben Kinsella, was stabbed to death by a gang of 3 youths in London. Ben, the 17th teenager killed in London in 2008, died in hospital a few hours later. Brooke said she was devastated and after his death, hundreds of people protested along with her over knife fatalities in London.

Brooke said that she was swept away with the campaign after Ben’s death and it was only when the campaigning calmed down and the murderers were convicted she realized that she hadn’t had time to grieve and was suffering with PTSD.
